10 yr old male westie whos skin has become black

I have a 10 yr old westie and have noticed over the last few days that his skin has turned black. he was groomed 2 weeks ago and returned with nice pink inner ears, belly and skin under his fur, but noticed the other day that this has now turned black everywhere on his body...is this normal?



Hi Tracy (just got back from Turkey so sorry for the delay - skin problems are very common in Westies (very common). I would take a look at this website as they are experts in this area and I would hate to give you any information that is not entirely correct - and they alao have a contact address.
