Dog Behavior Question - Male 11 month Old Westie Aggressive to Dog Groomer

I have a dog behavior question. My westie was aggressive to the groomer today never has been before and I dont know what to do?

Hi thanks for your question. I would look into why your dog has suddenly become aggressive - it might be down to a medical problem. Many dogs that are experiencing pain can only tell you that they are in pain by growling or being aggressive. In your dog's case it is well worth having him checked over as during the process of being brushed etc the groomer might have come into contact with an area that is painful for your dog. It might also be a one off. Take your dog to the vet - get him checked out. If it happens again then it might be a behavioral issue. Let us know and we will tackle the problem then.
