Dog Chasing Shadows

My dog been going crazy every time he sees a shadow on the wall.

Hi and thanks for the question - chasing shadows can develop into a behavioral problem. You should start by redirecting his attention and using behavior modification. Start by exercising your dog daily - a tired dog will become less excited and less stressed. When your dog starts chasing the shadows - ask her to 'Sit' - and redirect her attention by taking her for a walk or use another command. If shadow chasing is becoming so problematic that it is seriously stressing your dog it might have developed into OCD or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Speak to your vet as they might be able to prescribe something to reduce the anxiety - possibly medication such as Clomipramine or Clomicalm RX.
