Flea
bites on humans can be extremely irritating, itchy and leave the common
trail of three bites in a row.
The parasite have a massive appetite and can bite humans and pets
hundreds of times a day and can transmit tapeworm, plague and murine
typhus so you need to be aware.
Fleas like the warmer climate as it enables them to complete their life
cycle faster. Of course with the increased use of central heating this
means that you may be left with an infestation.
They like to live, breed and lay their eggs on a host such as your
beloved dog. The eggs are small and smooth and fall off the host with
ease, this can mean that you have eggs on your carpet, clothes or
bedding...nice!
