My dog doesn't get along with my Pitbull puppy

I have a 4 year old labrador she's very friendly but I just bought a 1 month old pitbull and the pitbull followed my lab and next thing she did was growl and try to bite my puppy. Is there anything in particular I need to do? Is there a way they can possible get a long. I tried to let them sniff each other and my lab tried to bite her again. Please help


Hi, well it's very young to have bought a Pitbull puppy (or any puppy) as it should still be with his mum up to the age of 8 weeks. I would personally keep them well away from each other - simply because you shouldn't have the puppy in the first place. When the puppy is older - leave it for a while as yours is still a baby - and then gradually introduce them together, but always stay close by. They will find their feet eventually - but I stress - your puppy is still too young to understand so wait for a month to 8 weeks.
