- Your dog may develop a
fever
where their temperature rises quickly.
- Your dog or puppy may lose his appetite.
- Your dog may develop sore
and swollen
limbs but they may become
sore and swollen anywhere on the body.
- A dog that has a nasty
infestation may develop nasty skin infections.
- Your dog or puppy may
become very
tired.
- Your pooch may develop
arthritis
due to the parasites staying in a localized area causing sore and swollen
limbs.
- Although it is very
difficult to detect from home, your dog may have a low blood count
which may be due to anemia.
It
is very
important that if you have any
worries about your pooch that you take him straight to the vet
and get advice.
Sometimes after your dog has been bitten he may develop a mark that looks like a bullseye which may be an indication of a disease.
Keep checking your pooch on a regular basis and make sure that when he is groomed their are no signs of him being infested.
