Which Dog Breed?

My daughter (8) wants a little dog. I do not know which breed to go with, and am considering a Shih Tzu, Yorkie or maltese.

We live in a house and would like the dog to live indoors. I have read about these breeds and they seem to be very similar, although the Yorkie seems to be a bit more active than the others.

Which could be easier to train or be more obedient?

Hi - all dogs respond to dog obedience trainig - but as I am very keen on Shih Tzus this is the breed we would go for - My family have owned three and have never had any problems. Yorkies can be a little tricky to potty train asd they are a little stubborn, and I have yet to train a Maltese - so we would go for the Shih Tzu. Hope this helps.
